Mission Trip 2022
Dr. Dadul, Ms. Dechen, Tibetan Children’s Village, and His Holiness the Dalai Lama Hospital have provided free medical, dental, and cancer treatment to 21,600 underserved children in Himalayan villages, Tibetan Children’s Villages, and refugee communities in India, Nepal, and Tibet.
Professor Dadul provided opportunity for doctoral students to take part in the mission trip. Dr. Dadul and Tibetan Children’s Village provided food, accommodation, and domestic travel resources to all students except flight expenses.
Students received mentorship and career coaching for two years. Many students were accepted into Harvard University, the University of Michigan, Loyola University, the University of Southern California, Marquette University, the University of Nebraska Medical School, Indiana University, New York University, University of California Los Angeles, Children’s Wisconsin, and Rochester University.
